Fall Session Information and Registration Details

SEASON:
 
The In-House 2018 FALL Outdoor Season will start  Saturday September 8th (weather permitting). The Fall session will have seven (7) games played mostly on Saturdays (some groups may have a 1 - 2 weeknight games).  All games will be played at the Barton-Bradley Soccer Fields.  Saturday games will be played between 9:00am and 1:00pm.  Games last approximately 1 hour.

SMALL SIDED GAMES:
 
NOSO promotes the use of “small-sided” games to teach soccer fundamentals to the younger ages of children.  The playing field is smaller and increases based on the age of the players. Smaller fields help focus on ball touches, control and basics fundamentals. Players are encouraged to play with less position structure and more ball contact (touches).


ELIGIBILITY:
 
Ages 4 through Grades 8.   All players must be at least 3 years old by July 1st, 2018


FEES:
 
Fees for the In-House 2018 Fall Outdoor Season are:
             Grade 3 and above $55 for each child (first three children within a family pay - 4th plays free)
  
             1st and 2nd Grade $50 for each child

              Pre-K and Kindergarten  $45 for each child

    **Please note:  There is no registration fee for children currently playing on a North Olmsted travel team, but a jersey is required.**

    PLAY for FREE   !!!!!!!!!!
Grades 1st through 8th grade can PLAY FOR FREE by referring 3 friends. Refer 3 friends that did not play for NOSO in 2018 and your registration fee will be refunded back to you!!


REGISTRATION:

(any registration received after August 26th  will be charged an additional $5 late fee)

Special Requests (such as team and coach assignments) should be noted on the registration form.  Special requests will be considered – but there are no guarantees that they will be accommodated.

Late Registration – any registration form received after August 26th will be subject to a an additional late fee of $5 to be assessed per child.  No special requests will be considered in the case of a late registration.


UNIFORM:
 
A reversible black/orange jersey is required for play.  Jerseys can be purchased for an additional $15.00, payable at the time of registration.  No player will be allowed to take the field unless the jersey and shin guards are worn (socks must cover the shin guards).  Soccer cleats are optional.


VOLUNTEERS:
 
We always need volunteers!  If you can volunteer your time or talent, please note that on the Registration Form.  For NOSO to progress in all areas, we need volunteers for all positions!

Coaching is one of the most rewarding positions to volunteer for – even if you have never coached before
NOSO will provide coaching reference material and a coaching bag with all your equipment necessary for your coaching success!
